I really value the practical aspects of design, and have always enjoyed building things and making models.
It is important to see how something is going to behave physically as this can also feed back into generating ideas, and finalising details.

Working for Jason Bruges Studio, a Shoreditch based design studio specialising in interactive lighting and installation, has given me confidence and experience in project managing construction and installations.
I started working there as an intern but after 3 months they offered me a permanent position.

I made the decision to study for a Masters in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art because I felt that I needed to work on my creative process and communication. It has also been a valuable experience working and communicating with many different people from all over the world.
